About Brittany
As a teenager, Brittany competed in the National Bible Bee for six years. By God’s grace, she won second place two times and fourth place once. The greatest prize, however, was God’s Word hidden in her heart. Participating in the Bible Bee taught Brittany how to study large portions of Scripture and inspired her to memorize twenty-six books of the Bible to date. Brittany also wrote and published A Trophy in My Heart to encourage others in Scripture memory and share about her Bible Bee journey.
As an adult, Brittany continues to have a heart for encouraging others to know the Word. She enjoys reciting Scripture and speaking at conferences and other events, as well as leading her Bible study retreat ministry for women called the Ruth Retreat. She has continued her involvement in the National Bible Bee through working as a content creator and a writer on the Discovery Journal writing team. When she is not working or pursuing certification as a biblical counselor, Brittany loves to sing, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors with her family in Deep East Texas.

What We Believe
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, holy Word of God.
The Godhead
We believe in one God who exists in three separate, yet co-existent and co-equal, parts: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirt.
God the Father
We believe there is only one true and living God.
God the Son
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, the eternal living Word, who came to earth in human form and gave His life as the perfect and sufficient payment for sin.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, who is given to all believers and indwells them forever, empowering them to live in spiritual victory.
Mankind & Sin
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Yet, mankind chose to disobey God, bringing death and eternal separation from God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God, found in Jesus Christ, available to all those who call upon His name for forgiveness from sin. Christ’s atoning work on the cross makes it possible to be reconciled to God, for those who repent and turn to Him for salvation. It is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone that this salvation is possible.
